C.A. Wells is known for her original needlework designs both in form and function. From etuis shaped as a cottage or pyramid to scissors keepers, the variety of designs will keep every stitcher involved from the first stitch to the last. A few designs have been published in the HNG magazine, Fine Lines. Primarily a teacher of her designs, most of her designs are only available by taking a class from C.A. Detailed project information is available on the website for those setting up class dates by contacting C.A. for the username and password. C.A's public teaching schedule only includes those dates where the hosts agreed to have them posted publically. Some teaching dates are not open to general participants and are therefore not listed. Contact C.A. for information on scheduling a teaching date in your area. C.A. also provides some wonderful stitching events through Legacy Needle Art. Previous events have been held in France, Italy and Cape Cod where fun and stitching are combined. Check out the Legacy Needle Art web site for more information on upcoming events. Those interested in creating a traditional Nantucket Lightship Basket Purse should check out Pieces of Eight, a retreat for creating both a purse and matching needlework (designed by C.A.) which takes place on Martha's Vineyard. |
